Hello and God bless you,
this is in reference to a scam report listed Dec. 29, 2005 time 20:13:25. It was submitted anonymously about a scammer named Vincent James Natie.
On another christian website i had the oppurtunity to correspond with this man who was known to me as James Tamba Makuma. He corresponded with me on christiansingles.com. When he showed me 'his' pic..i told him that the pic didn't match the words on his emails or his voice. he told me not to judge him and don't believe the 'stereotype' about Africans. No problem.
When we 1st began corresponding he said he lived in London and these are the numbers he gave me: 011 4470 4010 9096 and 011 4470 4013 0929. He was very attentive and gave me verbatim the exact story that he gave "Anonymous"
He was going to move to Michigan, he was going to celebrate my birthday with me etc etc(it sounded too good to be true and I knew it was too good to be true)
"James" even had his "mother" call me to bestow her blessing upon me. He said his son's name was vincent and vincent's 9yrs old and they (vincent and "J"'s mom lived in cape town)..
he was left millions in inheritance money from his father in a security deposit box in Malaysia. The fees totalled $57k+ and he only brought $30k and he asked if i could i help him by giving him $5k.
I flatly refused. He became belligerent with me and said i should help him. I told him his "father" left it to you, not me..and that's a problem he has to figure out.
His emails were full of praises to God, but when I refused him, everything but praises for God came out of his mouth. I told him that God was the author and finisher of his faith, and he told me he prayed and prayed and prayed but God won't answer his prayers. I told him to humble himself and he said never.
He then tried a final time (sounding very despondent--going for his "best dramatic actor award") and this time lowered the price to $1900...he said if i sent him the $$$ i would be HIS GOD. I told him he was sick, and I was sickened to know that he was willing to sell his soul for $1900..i then told "J" he was a fraud, he was a part of the 'nigerian scammers' and I would NEVER give him a dime. I told him I WOULD NEVER GIVE MONEY TO SOMEONE I'VE NEVER SEEN BEFORE.
He then told me not to contact him!!! the audacity. I told him he'd never have to worry about that. the number that he uses in malaysia is 00 601 462 56168...the email he used for correspondence was jamy_tech@yahoo.co.uk. At christiansingles.com (currrently) his username is "TOOOSMOT20" (too smart). These people HAVE NO RESPECT FOR AMERICANS and feel that we're stupid, greedy, gullible, and desperate.
I give God praise because I was one of the fortunate ones...it only cost me the price of a phone card. Also i prayed and asked Father for wisdom, and to reveal anything to me that was not like Him. God did, I heard, I saw, and I was covered. Hallelujah. We have to acknowledge Him in all of our ways so He can direct our paths.
