Please pray for my 38 year old niece, Joy, and her 5 year old daughter, Skylar. Joy has been in an abusive relationship with her ex-husband and Skylar has witnessed all the domestic violence between her mother and daddy. CPS is involved and investigating Joy and her ex-husband. She left behind a home and has no car and no job. She is now living with her mother, who resides in Arlington, TX, and is waiting for a referral from CPS to get into counseling for both Skylar AND herself. She is also registered for many parenting classes. She's trying to do the right thing. She is so scared they may take Skylar from her for the ex-husband is telling many lies. Please pray that the caseworker will be merciful and give her the chance to prove herself worthy of keeping her child, and that justice will be served regarding the man who has brought so much sorry into their lives and to all the family.
